I once got down voted to hell because I was accused of Russophobia. I am not. These plagues, no matter where they originate, are not natural, they are bioengineered on purpose to be resilient against modern medicine AND the use of antibiotics might even boost their lethality.
Bioweapons need to be made the most illegal of all weapons. More than nukes, too.

We could, and would, quickly run out of antibiotics in the case of exponential spread.

will
No one’s stepping up to staunch this, and I’ve played way too much Pandemic to not see the crayon on the WH wall.

Just in case you’ve been sleeping too well lately: https://www.popularmechanics.com/science/a74033610/russia-plague-lab-worker-dies
In the 20th century, biological warfare researchers learned how to make the plague much more deadly through genetic engineering.
If it’s just a plague, no. If it was weaponized, possibly. But that’s unlikely.
The report said 189 people were being monitored following the illness of an employee at an anti-plague research institute in Irkutsk. Alexei Tsydenov, head of the nearby Republic of Buryatia, said the woman had died from an unspecified form of plague.

Looks inside: epicenter of the next pandemic 👍
These epidemiologists aren’t doing their jobs right.
A woman died and her colleagues are being quarantined from their family in a building. Usually it’s not a problem, but apparently in russia, it is.

A literal plague. There’s several variants, this sounds more like pneumonic plague, which, unless it’s a bioweapon, is much easier to treat from what I understand.

Second only to pneumatic plagues, ofc.
Though, mnemonic plagues’re up there, too.

I wasn’t trying to be a dick. It was a joke because of your dad joke/play on words.
