I agree. I’ll be one year sober in 5 days :)

Oh no, I was being dumb haha.

Either the site dies, or I do lol. I agree with you, it won’t die before I do.

Sounds like a win either way to me!

I sadistically don’t like this.

Generally I’m all for things like this, but I don’t want there to be workarounds and backdoors to prolong reddit’s life.

It want the acceleration towards its death to increase. I don’t want people to be able to enjoy it so that the spell of the addiction (one I was guilty of) can be broken.

I think we can all do our part by blocking the website from our search results. Let it just hemorrhage and die with its bot network and shitty people.

This is a great breakdown.

I’ll share I pretty much only signed up for lemmy.world because I looked up which one had the most users (not that it seems to matter with all the crossover).

I wonder if there’s another instance I’d like more!

Do you mean adding “-site:reddit.com” to all your queries? Or is there a setting that I am missing?

I got banned for being pro-choice (pro-abortion really) and thinking women are people. They got all my accounts.

Pathetic website.

Welcome!!

Same! I use this

I currently use this to block reddit from my search results.

Currently old.reddit now requires an account to be logged in in order to view it.

Suspended accounts are also experiencing issues browsing old reddit since the update.

Additionally /r/all has been disabled and trying to access it from old.reddit results in a Reddit message saying “your network has been blocked.”

I can’t wait for the site to completely die.

When I’m in a rush I unironically go to BK because there’s never a line in my town. And I don’t understand why, it’s pretty good! Comparatively, anyway.

That first cereal guy was my avatar for years haha.

Even if both made the same amount of noise and/or occupied the same amount of space, a Solar Farm is better because it produces energy. A Data Center consumes energy (not to mention the energy is also being spent unethically.)

I’ve seen plenty of conservatives say they’d rather have a loud data center than quiet solar farm near their home.

I don’t understand.

I never understood how in 2,000 years or whatever, after all the translations and obvious edits for personal gain, no one thought to change the name of the tree from “The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.”

God forbidding (lol) Adam and Eve from seeking knowledge automatically puts him in the bad camp.

That would be cool. I have the great displeasure of knowing too much about the bible.

It would be fun to discuss it in a place where its given the same level of believability (0%) that I carry for it.

Isn’t this exactly the kind of thing conservatives were always worried about happening to them?
