True, both anarchists and communists want the same end goal — to move past capitalism and into a society that is stateless, moneyless, and classless. We just disagree on how to get there.

Tankies are not communists , they are delusional children , believing that hardcore autocracy can help getting to socialism. But in practice you get state funded oligarchy killing its people, arresting and disappearing its independent worker’s unions.

Can you blame them? The only way of getting to state-level communism has historically been hardcore autocracy, so I kinda understand them.
And the people belonging to “the party” get to enjoy lavish lifestyles, while the rest suffers and dreams about escaping/emigrating. The don’t want to empower “workers”, it’s just a polifitcal slogan to get themselves into power.

Yes I can. They did not bother to nuance their position, going fully into soviet empire propaganda. My grandfather was sent to gulag after soviets occupied baltic states, and he died presumably from starvation and overworking. I wish I could tell him that actually he is supposed to be alive, according to alternatively gifted delusional people from .ml
Also there are examples of getting to planned economy without autocracy: Salvodor Allende’s Chile, anarchist societies in Ukraine in 30s, Yugoslavia (kinda), etc.

Unlike beans and boobs, communism hasn’t really been tried before.
