    Except there is no way his ear really was scraped by a bullet. They didn’t even bother to produce a half-arsed scar on the earlobe to make the charade convincing.

      Yep! All fake! Brave Donald Trump conspired to have a teenager fire an assault rifle at him from 350’. The teenager agreed to die by sniper fire. Biden’s USSS, who he had purged of MAGA, and Trump was not in charge of, was in on it. The local cops were in on it. The NYT photographer who caught a pic of the bullet in flight was in on it. The dead guy behind Trump shot himself, as did the wounded folks, because they loved Trump so much. Trump pulled a masterful piece of acting where he looked utterly stunned when they picked him up. Biden’s FBI confirmed Trump was fired on. We all know what masterful planning and execution Trump and his people are capable of, and they always keep their mouths shut, not a single leak! All this for a single-digit ratings bump that barely lasted a week. It’s all very simple if you think about it.

      OR, a teenager got past weak security, climbed onto a rooftop and shot his shot, missed and barely dinged Trump in the ear.

      This is THE dumbest conspiracy theory I’ve ever heard. Used to be it was just morons on the right that were such complete fucking morons.

        I thought that the fake part was just that he hurt his ear while ducking down and since he’s an older man, a slight scratch can bleed quite a bit. So him claiming to be hit by the bullet was possibly fake.

        That doesn’t have to invoke a full blown conspiracy of multiple suicides and fake gun assault.

          In wrestling they will cut themselves with razor blades to make themselves bleed. He was heavily involved with the WWE and its owner for decades. The speculation was that he did something similar with the broken glass from the teleprompter. So what’s fake is that he saw the broken glass and when the shooter was down he cut himself in some place that bleeds well and jumped up to get the photo op.

        Literally, show the scar on his ear. Where is it? A part of his ear should have been blown off. What happened?

          It was a bullet, we have a pic of it in flight. It barely dinged him and head wounds bleed like mad.

          I sliced the side of my finger off, as in completely flat. Because of modern wound care there isn’t a scar would would see in a pic and the flesh actually filled back far better than the ER doc said was possible.

        So interestingly, Gnosticism is basically a take on Christianity that makes Satan the good guy in the story for exactly this reason. He’s essentially just trying to get people to think for themselves and question this despotic creator. The forbidden fruit in the Bible is said to grant “the knowledge of good and evil” so why the fuck wouldn’t you want that?

      The average American commutes 2× the distance than the average UK citizen. Plus there’s rarely a public transit option. So for many this is a doubling of an expense that cannot be avoided.

      Personally I don’t see the point in arguing over who has the higher price when we could just be mad that one man caused a global crisis

          Not when we get fucked for Healthcare we don’t.

          I paid more in the US every 2 weeks for insurance and still had to pay higher prices at the doctor than I pay now for the entire month in Germany.

          On paper the salary looks good. Then the hidden costs start

          And that depends on your industry. Our upper and middle working class makes more, but the lower working class makes significantly less. Absolutely abysmal minimum wage
