I don’t forget to add salt, but I don’t like salt nearly as much as other people seem to, so when we have guests over for dinner, we warn them that the food is lightly salted and provide various condiments at the table to add salt.

That’s not borderline, if he had low blood pressure issues or already medicated for high blood pressure, it could have killed him.
I once made the faux pas of mentioning the blue eye thing to a couple who each had blue eyes shortly before they had their first child, a healthy, brown eyed boy.

13 daysIt’s fucking blatant, too. White British people in the nineties/early two thousands might well have had a blind spot (not an excuse) and not realized that “Cho Chang” was as fucked up a name as it was, but I simply cannot believe that nobody noticed the only explicitly Irish character was constantly sneaking whisky and making explosions.

My grandmother was purported to have frequently said that this was the only true crime.
Of course, she lived through Jim Crow, WWII, and The Korean War, so she overlooked a few other massive crimes, but she was a young adult living in the dust bowl when the Great Depression hit, so I think it’s reasonable for that to have been pretty formative for her.
