The only other OEDC members to do so are Japan, Israel, and (theoretically) South Korea. Belarus is the only “western” country other than the US.

It probably will be. I’ve heard questions about injection’s efficacy before so this will probably be the death knell for it.

It shifted public opinion on medically assisted death. The legislation took another decade or so but the images forced everyone to rethink their stance. I remember rethinking the stance my religion had forced me to believe even as a kid.
