I don’t have a ton of physical media, definitely nothing rare or valuable to anyone but me, but what I do own I care more about the condition of the media itself and associated artwork than I do about its packaging. From the pics you posted it looks like the plastic wrap is the resealable kind, I’d just swap the box out with a different one and put it back in the plastic wrap.

I feel like they know this. They’re not defending Joe Rogan, they’re pointing out the very true fact that Ivermectin has, is, and will continue to be used for purposes outside of deworming horses. When you say, “Joe Rogan is dumb because he’s using horse dewormer”, his defenders can (rightfully) correct you by saying “they’re not just horse dewormers, they work for other things too”. When you say, “Joe Rogan is dumb because he’s taking an antiparasitic for a virus”, their only option is to admit he’s an idiot, or admit they’re an idiot.

You’re getting downvoted but you’re correct. I worked in the pharmacy industry during and before COVID. Ivermectin, as a pill and cream, were being used for a variety of things, human and animal; it wasn’t the most common medication by any means but we always had it in stock and filled it regularly, until the COVIDiots (patients and doctors!) decided it was somehow the cure and started flooding us with prescriptions for the stuff and we had to stop filling them.

All this to say, unless Rogan has parasites (not ruling it out), no reason to be taking dewormer, horse or otherwise.

I am an ill-informed American gamer and this is the first I’ve heard of a “15 year console ban” in China. (Of course I knew about things like internet restriction so “console ban” does not seem too crazy, but I never knew it was a thing.) The resulting gray market sounds both exciting and terribly frustrating. How did these devices work, would you insert an official game disk and play like normal?

Thank you for sharing. I don’t make enough time for videogames as I used to, but reading your fond memories of these games remind me of my own. I’m glad that you have such a strong connection to these titles. Nanatsu Kaze no Shima Monogatari sounds beautiful, but my Japanese is very poor.
