That reminds me of how I was baking a pizza after a short day in highschool. It was a very good mozzarella pizza with mushrooms.
I saw a post on reddit (not pic related) that was so ragebaity I wanted to discuss on lemmy if people felt it was fake - or perhaps even completely generated by an LLM.
It was top trending in the UK and said someone got called into HR for discussing beekeeping with a younger, adult, coworker. They were apparently accused of grooming. It was laying on too thick the “tropes” we’re supposed to be annoyed about, which made me suspicious. suppose someone wanted to inflamed culture wars (which they do) it would be the perfect sort of post for that. An LLM can keep on pumping them out till every topic is covered.

I had a theory years ago that r/AmITheAsshole was a testing ground for creating a model of public respectability politics by fine tuning which events did and did not garner support for the OP / the other belligerent. “They hate cheaters but what if she’s being physically abused? What if he’s being physically abused? What if it’s not physical but verbal abuse? What if–” and so on and so forth until you can algorithmically decide exactly how much and which bullshit you need to either dig or make up on someone for public opinion to turn on them.

Is everything that doesn’t have themes that align with your world view fake? Where do you draw the line?
When i first joined this forum i was constantly reminded that “everything on reddit is fake” so i’m just applying that principle and that is why i figured people might want to chat about it. [I realise i probably should have taken it to a reddit comm which would be a more relevant place for it.]
It’s not so much that it doesn’t align with my principles (beekeeping is based after all), it is just that it’s* laying it on a bit thick*. Even if OP is telling the truth, he didn’t need to make such a juicy story about it - we all get crazy coworkers once in a while, don’t need to give them a public trial on reddit.
