If you have a good switch or router, correct. If you have cheap consumer level crap, it could potentially cause a lot of issues until you unplug it. It wholly depends what’s on the other end of those jacks, though. Who knows what “in” and “out” mean in this context.

For eink, the XTEink devices work offline. If you put https://crosspointreader.com/ on them, then it’s not even XTEink’s software running on it.

I don’t think it’s racist. That’s probably just a coincidence. But it’s definitely stupid and I guarantee you they don’t pay overtime. I don’t think you’re required to pay overtime for salaried employees.
