The only thing I can think that sort of makes sense is maybe they’re treating Man-Machine Interface as its own thing rather than a continuation?

Which, given the time-skip, as well as tonal and stylistic differences maybe seems justified.

Not sure how bad it would be in practice, but the divot on the top of this hat seems like it might funnel things that would have glanced off a standard hardhat into a solid impact at the top of the head instead. And the brim could likewise be problematic.

I honestly don’t see how it’ll help, but I but I guess I could grow some boobs for the sake of the environment…
