Owner operator is much different than employee. If you want to drive and are motivated to do so, that is one thing. If terms of your employment are drive when told to, to the letter of the “law” it sucks ass.

Currently allowed to drive for 11, shift can be up to 14 hours. Im curious what the drive time will be. As is is maximum safe level. Especially as the baseline. I think there should be outlier drivers allowed to drive more than 11, but not every driver. (OTR low population density, i.e. North dakota/Montana routes)

OT per diem over 8 hours is very solid. Only saw that once when I was racking up hours in Colorado. There is was OT per diem over 12 hours. (We were working about 104 hours per week those months.) It adds up.

I sell and buy things all day, average emails per day over the last 3 years is about 120. 120 does not count auto responses from my system which go into their own folder automatically. I just emptied those last week, but it was like 93,000 in that folder. Took about an hour to delete them

Not a physical sport. Sporting/sportsmanship centers around the competitive nature of the event, not how physical it is.

I grew up playing all the “real” sports. I get the pushback, but at the end of the day if there is an opponent, even if that opponent is yourself, it’s a sporting event.

Everything can be a sport.
