• I can never gloss over the fact of how painful it would be having to support and balance your entire body weight on your perineum.

Thank god for the roombas, a literal revolution in witch transportation.

    • If the broom is magical enough to fly, surely it’s magical enough to feel super comfortable? That’s how I’ve always rationalised it

      • The thickness of padding jammed between your legs required to buffer your bits against riding a closet clothes hanging rod would be enough to, at the very least, make you walk funny when not riding.

The saddle on my last bike was not far off that. Riding a dildo to work may be somebody’s cup of tea, but it wasn’t mine.

  • Someone mentioned Roomba is an anagram for “a broom”.

Also shouldn’t she be sitting on it? Or is the picture not clear then?

seems like the logical progression. 1990s sabrina ‘flew’ an upright vac.

  • Brooms are easily and affordably replaced, don’t need an app, can’t be forced to SaaS, and if the maker goes out of business, you can find another.

  • There needs to be a witch of the Deep North that wears layers of knitwear and rides atop a Zamboni

  • Hmm. I feel like one could mount a chair to one of these and have the mop sticking out of the ringer, handy for jousting purposes. Seems more comfy.

  • There are two characters like this in Little Witch Academia and one of them literally rides on a flying roomba.

yea. but it’s magic. you ain’t falling unless you want to.

      • It’s magic that it’s flying, I don’t think I ever heard it’s magic that you can’t fall off, quite the opposite in most of the stories I’ve read that featured brooms

        • Magic that binds you to the roomba. So as long as it’s flying, you’re staying attached.

    • Long as you’ve got gymnast skills. It is basically just a monkey bar, without the side posts.

Either way you better work on your grip strength and pull-ups.

  • As long as all the surveillance stuff is striped from it and perhaps its running open source software.

  • I think the shamful euphemism ‘she rides around town on a broomstick’ is now fully, and permanently, worn out.
