He vetoed because he doesn’t feel that executive power should be limited in discretionary powers. He has otherwise been 100% supportive of trans rights. If this alone makes you not support him against Trump et al you deserve Trump et al.

But you’re right, you shouldn’t be against him for this alone. There are a bevy of valid reasons to not support him and you should definitely look into them.
