All Rudy had to do was lay low, and occasionally show up at 9/11 events, and he could’ve been remembered more or less by everyone as America’s mayor who led New York through the worst terrorist attack America’s ever seen. Sometimes I find myself having a small amount of sympathy for the person who got their face eaten. Not a lot mind you, but often it’s a relatively normal person who made a really stupid choice and are reaping what they have sown.
In this case? None at all.
