5 daysWhat is it? A wall? A fence? Just a long string of lights?
I wonder how many kwh it costs every day to keep it lit.
I’m going to make the extremely optimistic assumption that the two countries love each other so much, they have a constant dance party going on 24/7 along the entire length of the border. Each of the lights is a DJ playing a set beneath a spotlight, with a crowd of dancers around them. 😅
From one end of the border to the other, the dance never ends!

I think the lights are probably on the towers dotted along the fence. Best I could find nearby on Google Streetview:

Yeah, agreed, they look to be hugely bright spotlights facing into Pakistan. All my photos are from within India, so even if they were clearer, I don’t think we’d see the actual light fixtures.
(Edit: unless that’s what’s on the poles in all three pictures, maybe.)

Just looked into it on the map and it’s actually a street. The Radcliffe line defines the border and they turned it into a big long road. There’s some parts where it loops around and zigzags parallel to it’s self.

Is that the golden temple we can see on the right, holiest site of the Sikhs?
