I see people being very scared of the election and I don't know what to do

Of course, I know that voting isn’t as effective as actually spreading Marxism-Leninism, but I went on Redlib and viewed the Oregon sub. They are scared of this candidate Christine Drazan who will pulverize the environment and restrict abortion rights. I refuse to get a Reddit account.

I want to connect this back to something Lenin said but of course I need an account to comment. Since it’s an election, especially a close one, it gives a powerful impression to those involved that these unavoidable consequences of captialism are completely avoidable. There is a lot of education to be done here and it’s tiring.

Really, I hear how terrified people of what will happen, which makes me feel sad for them. I should be going out and giving them hope but I have severe social anxiety.

Talk with actual people. Reddit is a lost cause.

Theoretically on Reddit, your post will be seen by some people and inspire them. But it’s likely to just get shadow deleted and you won’t reach people. Or you’ll be downvoted immediately making it less likely to be seen.

I understand anxiety, but as someone who used to be the same, I can tell you that it gets better as you climb that wall and talk with others.

Hey a fellow Cascadian comrade!

I personally don’t have much hope for a revolution (that’s beneficial to the proletariat) occurring in this settler colony… I think our main priority is education and elections present good opportunities for that.
