I met all of my loves in the same bar in the 90s. Sometimes the love was short lived, sometimes a little longer and one is still with me for 30 years next january.

I ordered something with a two day delivery time, after ordering I got a confirmation it would take three to five work days, and after the fifth day I got an e-mail that it would take longer. Currently on day ten and counting.

These are all personal freedom issues, though the right to hold guns can also interfere with others’ freedom.

Interesting read, but having read “Breath” by James Nestor, that book is basically a long ad for an orthodontic product named “Homeoblock”.

Liberalism is a political philosophy that classically strifes for as much freedom for the invidual as possible without limiting other’s freedoms, separation of church and state, small governments, and free markets without government interference. In theory it can both be left or right in politics, but in my experience they’re globally more right leaning (probably due to the small government and free market ideas, which can ultimately lead to ladder pulling tendencies). It is only called leftism in the US because the conservatives are even more to the right, globally US liberals would be seen as right-wing with some exceptions.

Did some searching, it turns out it was 1992 in Rotterdam. They played the previous day too, but I remember for sure that they played Breadfan which is only on this setlist.

They had a short European tour this summer, and I guess they played some dates in the US as well.

25 year old me would be surprised that I switched jobs a few times, got my bachelors degree and don’t work as a plant operator anymore. He would be most surprised about which people are still a major part of my life, and which turned out to be not worth it.

The one in 2006? Not the cruise ship builder’s fault, but the system operators of the grids. They failed to communicate changes in the plan to each other, and then fucked up when things started to go wrong.
