What are you talking about!? The only people wearing leggings I’ve seen in the wild look like they are trying to store thousands of dollars worth of loose coins back there…

I’d absolutely love it if Star Trek (not Alex Kurtzmen) adapted the Corp of Engineers books.

The original ebook series would slot in perfectly with a 20ish episode a year release cycle, and the plots/characters are already developed, you just need to script them out.

Each book is a “problem of the week” style story, with that classic Star Trek (not Alex Kurtzmen) style character development, based on the main problem of the episode.

But, until Kurtzmen, or the mouth-breathers that keep him employed, get hit by a bus we’ll never know how well it could be adapted…

Untill the tech improves, nothing.

I’ve seen three foldey phones in the wild, and they all had a smattering of problems; dead pixels along the foldey bits, cracked plastic along the foldey bits, scratches on the non-foldey bits because shrapnel gets in between the screens, ect…

If we had just kept working on the keyboard slidey phones, we’d have pocket terminals by now, but the keyboard died and was replaced with software…

Edit: typos

An oldie but goldie: Grim Fandango

You drive your character like a tank, up moves him forward from his perspective, though there might be a setting to change that, it’s been years.

When you walk around the environment, Manny will turn his head to look at interactive objects, then you have “interact”, “examine”, or “pickup”.

The inventory screen is a close up of his jacket, where he reaches in a pulls something out. Hit the “next item” keyboard shortcut and he puts that object back into his jacket, and pulls out the next item.
