The left/right brain thing has always been bunk. People have entire hemispheres removed with minimal negative consequences, personality changes, etc.

That can have some really frightening (if rare) side effects! Bupropion is similar in that it has few side effects and isn’t an SSRI. Works ok, just don’t take too much or you’ll seize 🙃
