For me it’s Whatsapp. Like 99% of people i know use it so yeh… i still need it. I am considering moving the Whatsapp Gdrive backup to a local backup btw.

Google photos is also a major problem for us. We have a lot of stuff that want to migrate to different service (or store locally).

Assume left handed driving, right handed drivers please reverse the direction lol.

What i meant was that are you able to leave perfect spaces on the left and on the right? Or you tend to drift little more to one side e.g. 51/49 drift toward the left instead of 50/50 exactly?

I notice that experienced drivers drift to the side too. So i am curious and i have my theories for this:

1. Drivers are more likely to drift just a bit toward their driver side. E.g. for left hander driving that means drifting toward the left. This is because the wing mirror is the closest to the driver, so it is easier for the eyes to follow and track.

2. I’ve been to places where we have to share roads with bikes and motocycles. So a lane road is literally 2 lane: cars need to hug the left lane to create spaces on the right. So drivers from those countries are keen to drift to the left; even when they are on the highway without any motocycles.

3. For left handed driving, you usually dont drift to to the right UNLESS you are on the phone or using the giant touchscreen while driving.

I understand LUKs can be used to encrypt your data. But what would prevent somebody plug in a USB with and just wipe my drive?

On traditional BIOS like Lenovo, HP, Dell and even Framework you can set a supervisor password that locks the boot menu. So nobody can boot from the USB.

Coreboot is different though. I spoke with Starlabs whose computers run Coreboot, and apparently you can have the boot menu password. OTOH, Sys76’s Coreboot doesnt allow such things.

I ask because i want to libreboot my T480, but the number 1 thing i worry is unauthorized USB boot.

seems to only lock the ability to edit the grub entry freely, aka press “e” to change stuff when grub fails to boot.

Yes i understand how when the British colonized India and got those exotic spices and the Indians who immigrated to the UK, opened up lots of restaurants there. But still, in my 1st trip to the UK last year, I saw more Indian dishes than Chinese. Heck, even in a Chinese restaurant, we have the option to add some curry sauce on the side. And for the fish and chip shops, you can even have curry sauce to go with the chips and fish.

Is this a culinary thing, i.e. curries are easier to cook? My friend is Indian and although the curries look easy to make, gathering the correct ingredients is very tricky. Missing one and your dish doesnt turn out well. The UK already had these exotic spices so it is easier to make the dish?

Or is it a regional thing? It is freezing in England and so hot dishes like curries are perfect? Traditional stews are kinda bland so something liquid like curry is better?
