I couldn’t talk anyone into Matrix (Or Stoat or any of the others) but I somehow managed to get a Steam group chat sort of rolling instead of Discord, as most of the groups I played with had Steam accounts anyways so it was easy to jump on.
Not ideal, but its some progress?
I had a dead-set career path (game design) and even went to college with this path in mind. When it all came together and I finally had the opportunity to do it, I made a sudden decision against it.
Ended up being the right choice, but I don’t think my younger self would believe it.
I feel obligated to point out that this won’t be the same Obsidian who made New Vegas. Same company, but (mostly) not the same devs or the same leadership.
Though I’m a little hopeful that Josh Sawyer manages to make something neat.
