Your first post is the equivalent of saying Germany doesn’t know how to make a sports car because you’ve driven a bunch of VWs. Your follow-up post about Willamette is why my post was not snobby. You like a particular style of wine, which is great! Napa cabs are not your style, which is also great! Sonoma pinots are also not your style, based on the profile of Willamette being your style. Have you had a single block pinot from the Santa Rita Hills AVA of Santa Barbara? Those will taste a LOT like the pinots from Willamette. If you like cheap S American wine, you might like some of the smaller wineries in Paso Robles (though many of those tend to do really heavy GSMs that are more Spanish style and not French or S American style).
Your second post talking about Willamette and Champagne is a much more reasonable take and points to what you like and your tastes without implying CA only makes one style of wine.

Oregon makes better pinot noir than nearly all CA pinots, but no other red varietals. Oregon pinots are equivalent to Sta Rita Hills pinots, or slightly worse. The issue with other reds is you are comparing a wine making region of Oregon that is 44,000 acres to CA with 477,000 acres. Literally a tenth of the size. Yeah, there’s some really shitty CA wines out there. There are also some amazing Spanish GSMs that Oregon can’t make, or some cabs that Oregon can make but not as well as CA’s best areas.
And no, it is not that people can taste the difference now that they have the internet. It is that people are buying WAY less wine overall. Your argument immediately falls apart when you read that Oregon wine production has dropped 25% in 2 years versus CA dropping 20% in 5 years.
And saying that CA wine is inferior to French and Italian wine is only true when comparing the top manufacturers. I’ve had some absolute garbage wine while tasting in Burgundy. I didn’t have any garbage wine in Tuscany, but some of the Montalcinos were not good.

You definitely have not had good CA wine.

1 million percent. People in this thread talking like they know wines when they think a Central Coast pinot is what all American pinots taste like. They also think all French wines are comparable to Nuits-Saint George premier cru. They think a cab from “California” is the same as a Napa cab.

You are the perfect use-case for a Coravin. Can’t recommend them enough for people who only like to drink a little but still like nice wines. Buy fewer bottles of wine by making them last longer.

I 100% agree about the door handles, but not all EVs have non-physical door releases. There are at least 6 from various manufacturers that are fully physical.
The internet connected car is every single car made today, unless you pull out a fuse, regardless of EV or ICE.

“While the men were doing drugs off of her body, [Male Number 3] and [another male] entered the room and said something like, ‘Ok we’re shutting down whatever the [expletive] this is,'” the document said.
Reading the entire story of the night in question does not sound like she was capable of consenting to the later acts, regardless of how willingly she took drugs/alcohol and consented to the earlier acts. The account goes up to Male Number 7. Also, it’s not clear whether Male Number 3 from the above quote is the same Male Number 3 from the second threesome.

The depreciation of a car is less than the fuel costs. If a car depreciates by $20,000 over 10 years, that is less than $38/week in fuel. If it depreciates by $30,000, that is still only $58/week.

“No one is above the law,” Rep. James Comer, R-Ky.
“Well, except for Trump. I love that guy.”

At the same time, EVs tend to use harder tires (for better efficiency) that don’t wear out as often as softer tires that ICE cars use.

What dumb ICE cars are there?

Looks like you aren’t driving any car made after 2018, so why say you aren’t driving an EV?

It says “cheaper to drive” not “cheaper to own.”
Regardless, taxes and insurance are roughly the same. Maintenance on an EV is FAR less than an ICE car (no oil changes, fewer brake changes, fewer moving parts to replace over time). So if “fuel” is 1/9, and maintenance is just replacing the tires and putting in new wiper fluid, then driving is going to be much cheaper.

The hour before the wrecking ball starts swinging, they should slap Trump’s name on the building right where the first swing is planned to hit.

You think that if CEOs started getting arrested for blatantly illegal things that they wouldn’t reconsider their actions? Right now, they have absolutely no reason to NOT do illegal shit.
EDIT: unless you mean that international arrest warrants are meaningless.
Some manager just watched the Seinfeld episode where George brought the security guard a chair to sit in. The guard fell asleep and missed when the shop was robbed.
