Showerthought: Could we portray ultrarich capitalists as helpless slave to wealth reproduction, mentally diminished by the obvious sickness brought upon them by capital accumulation, so that we can build a medical argument of care to “save” them by nationalizing the stolen means of production? I mean “it is a terrible necessity and a moral obligation”.

5 daysIt is it is, that’s the whole point of municipalism and things like bioregionalist anarchism. But there are stronger factors to mobilizing. Imagine a synchronized mob of 50 persons in each county. Also, France is a country built as a basic centralized system where all roads of transportation and communication lead to Paris. So, yeah, sure, but also absolutely not.

6 daysHey, as much as I get your point about distance, I don’t think it’s the whole story. I think there is one of the most powerful history and tradition of revolt and demonstration in the US. I think the difference has something to do with the esthetics of it. In France, revolt, fire and police violence are associated with beauty. I’ll leave that here.

19 daysYou’re actually right… maybe I should stop looking for a stable 9 to 5 and be adventurous!

20 daysThe amount of log. The pictures, the journals, the dedicated web apps to keep track of things… It would be too much work to sort through and would go to waste, I’m sure. That’s why I’ve started a new habit of “making things usable”. When I die, would someone be able to go through my stuff, search in it, find the bits that are interesting?

You know it’s the opposite: we model our technologies precisely mimicking famous books.
