This really got me. It’s intended to be a picture frame with a stand on the back
Mr. Morris? Why does your brick have a tie?

The entitlement seriously seems insane to me.
Drake Bell pled guilty in 2021 to a 4th degree felony of attempted child endangerment when he was 31 and the victim was 15. She was a fan.
Yeah, I sure wonder why he was $11,452.47 short of the SAG minimum this year… he seems easy to employ.

If you wanted a lot of human effort, you might be barking up the wrong tree.
The article says “I went looking;” but what is “I”? The author posts anonymously, doesn’t disclose their use of AI, and the obvious use of AI (the article image) is bad use of AI. The author barely appears human. Why would I care what “The Architect” says??
I doubt many of the people who upvoted the article even read it, but I expect each of the next breathless installments to be equally celebrated despite having no human readers.
This community will upvote anything if it agrees with their biases, including articles fueled by sycophantic AI.
I noticed this too! I hadn’t seen that detail in the past but it adds another layer to the comic
You mentioned the woman’s worried hands in the second panel, but I also noticed that same worried woman threw away her robes in the last panel to talk to the police.
It’s not meant to be overanalyzed
The robe in the trash implies it definitely was made to be over-analyzed. Seems like part of the fun.

And sweet pickle relish! (Shudder)

The recipe is in the corner! It wasn’t uncommon for food ads or the back of packaging to have an insane recipe with it.
On the back of a recent box of Cheez-Its I bought, it had a picture of Cheez-It salty cheese crackers on an ice cream sundae. wtf??
I’m not 100% sure anyone eats most of them but it’s an ad, so it gets someone’s attention.

That’s the serving dish, there are 8 hot dogs there.

If I remember correctly, and someone please correct me if I’m wrong, this leaker created their own cryptocurrency to profit off of this.
So they’re referring to the cyberleek “coin” getting to a certain point and they’ll release the full game.
According to the website coinmarketcap, the current market cap of that coin is $3.8 million. So it has a ways to go.
Ah I also didn’t realize someone answered before me! My bad

That inset photo was what made me think it was skin in the first place!
So I’m… partially glad you said this.

watch out-here comes Spider-Man
This is why longer dashes exist, so you don’t get “watch out-here” one word away from Spider-Man.
Also, since it’s the pattern of his suit and the inside is a shade of red, at first I thought it was a cross-section of Spider-Man’s skin, making it look absolutely disgusting as a food.

They’re lying about their “visitors,” like all of these shitty advertising websites do. Just take a look at one of their websites without a content blocker and you’ll see what I mean. The content doesn’t even display properly. You can’t even read the homepage of science blog dot com because the content overlaps.
attracted an average of 64.7 million visitors per month
that would make it one of the 30 most trafficked English-language media enterprises on the web, with a total digital readership substantially higher than that of NPR, narrowly besting CBS News and Forbes, and just slightly behind the Washington Post
Bullshit.
They’re conning people into believing they’re successful, but like many other “successful” web properties, they can just make up their number of visitors.
I was curious about this and how it related to Gold’s Gym, which had a similar logo and became an iconic brand in the 1970s and 80s. My first thought was “did they totally rip off Gold’s Gym??”
It turns out that the founder of Gold’s Gym sold the rights to the name in 1973, regretted it, and then created World Gym a couple years later.
So no wonder it looks the same and also features Arnold Schwarzenegger!
Wikipedia article about World Gym.
