Yeah. Companies running on state subsidies competing with others who are not is not capitalism “working”, it’s just another rug pull leaving us all fucked.
Chinese cars are heavily subsidized by the state. The reason they’re so cheap is because China bets it can squeeze the competition out of the market before charging basically whatever they want.
I’ve seen Starbucks do the same thing to independent coffee shops.
I was hanging out on small phpbb forums and occasionally IRC. I didn’t use the internet in English back them though, which probably improved my experience quite a lot.
Something awful and YTMND I’ve heard about but I have no idea what they were, 4chan is a shit stain, and Ebaum I’ve never heard of before this comment. So clearly they were not that monopolizing.
