22 hoursKind of same. I’m still very into cars and tools etc and bring impressed by the engineering, but really hate how theyve ruined society and earth in so many ways. Like the internet.

22 hoursNot saying this is you, but ive noticed society in general had our brains friend by big tech and smartphone use. If you start detoxing and going back to 03 levels of tech use, you start to enjoy things like long form games and books again.
Or maybe you just need a good game series. I’d recommend life is strange (very movie like), or the Alan wake series (Control is an amazing game).
Or, maybe you just value more important things in life than games right now. Thats fine too.
I prefer large to small imo, plus computers prefer yy mm dd too
Go back to the retirement home grandpa. Computers are grok prompts now with subscription tokens. Pass me the verification can gramps. Heil musk!
The worst date format. Even worse than Americans mm dd yy

3 daysWe dont take kindly to logic round these parts 😉
Kidding. I myself need the real hardware and real controller to transport myself. I am just obsessed with authentic. Hence why the 5 CRTs…
I do emulate ps2 on my desktop for a couple of games, but not often.

4 daysI always used to say I don’t wanna be rich. Just 30k a year and I’ll be set, I could buy anything I want with that.
30k is poverty now in america.

4 daysWhat really made it hit was when I gave more thought to how much trash the human race has created, even in 20 years, let alone since the wave of products in the 50s.
Like, I think it can just end any time. We had a good run.

4 daysI wish so bad more people understood this shit. Our brain dead society can literally only process “bUY On tEH aMAZoON??!!”
People now are idiots and can’t even search the web to find where to buy a product (usually cheaper directly from the manufacturer if they do shipping), they sure as hell aren’t gonna find an author on patreon.

4 daysI guess I could have phrased this exact question with “the environment” and probably got the same answers. (Bad) religious people think it’s all “theirs” so they can do whatever they want and pollute all they want as “god” will take care of the earth no matter what.

My favorite system for sure.
