>> The #RCN represents more than 500,000 nurses in the UK. Teva UK is the British arm of the global drug giant Teva Pharmaceuticals, which is one of the NHS’s biggest suppliers of medicines.

>> It acted after coming under pressure from campaign groups Nurses for Palestine and UK Healthcare Petitions to Royal Colleges (UKHPRC) to end its relationship with #TevaUK.

>> Teva has been ordered to pay about £1bn in fines and other payments by the European Commission and US authorities over the last decade for bribery, price-fixing and abuse of its market position…

… statement from NYC PYM on Zohran Mamdani and the Palestine movement in New York City.

We call on the mayor to:

Immediately shut down the illegal sales of stolen Palestinian land in New York City
Use every means available to him to prevent military cargo shipments to Israel that depart from JFK airport
Dismantle the NYPD’s Strategic Response Group and fire Jessica Tisch

Meaningful change will come not through symbolic gestures, but through the realization of these demands. We want a New York City that stands firmly on the side of humanity and the Palestinian people. We will continue to struggle until these demands are met and until #Palestine is free.
