That is excellent question of semantics. I dont mean to argue semantics but rather clarify dish “soap” vs dish washer “detergent” as that could be the difference between a successful wash that doesn’t leave residue vs any alternative result.

Lmao you right, I was being a little too casual. Gotta put some respec on his name 😂
Alec Watson puts out some top notch content
Also very fair point but happy to spread the word just in case
You mean detergent right?
Apologies for the youtube link but this guy fits in nicely with the lemmy crowd and made a 40min video about optimal use of dishwashers and detergent. He does promote a specific powder detergent… but its from a good company 👈👈😎 and backed with science.

The reputation of the school you get your degree from will make some difference (i.e. MIT) but isn’t the most important thing. If you’re worried about competing with degrees from in person schools though, you may be able to find one that accepts online transfer credits and finish out your last year in person and attend the necessary labs as needed to get the degree from that school plus some hands on experience. You’ll need to do some homework and confirm details with the school first.
No matter how you get the degree though, working on and documenting projects outside of any class work, especially with clubs and organizations like for robotics or racing, makes the biggest difference imo. Its the projects that demonstrate your ability to apply your skills and knowledge and solve problems and that is what interviewers and hiring managers will want to hear.
Good luck!
Edit: forgot to mention the in person classes and clubs can also help with networking and references which is often just as important as anything else.

Looks like there’s plenty of discussion around the washing machine already. Are you hanging drying clothes inside or outside?
If inside and you dont live in a particularly dry area, make sure to run a dehumidifier in the same room as the clothes. It won’t remove the scent from the wash of course but it will help dry them quicker and prevent any mildew that may have transfered to the clothes from getting worse at least.
