Yeah, I heard John Deere is absolutely terrible concerning self repairs. Still too many farmers celebrate the brand and brag with their “Mercedes of tractors”
Thanks for the insight! Makes a lot of sense, especially the sensor wire degradation. Salty snow slushy gnawing through the wire assembly. And if the sensor data is freely readable, that’s pretty useful to have error codes. I know I intentionally bought a motherboard with the little error code indicator for exactly that reason
VIN locked, means the actual problem is behind proprietary software that is only readable via company issued computers?
I am quite deep into repairing Oldtimer motorcycles, so I know a bit about repairing vehicles. I’m quite interested, what could be the reason for this warning to appear? Blown out head gaskets? Stuck valves? Broken sync chain? What sensors are responsible for triggering that warning?
