NoMeansNo at the Cotati Cabaret (might have been the The Inn of the Beginning) in Cotati, CA in the early 90’s. “Stage” was a 1-foot-high platform. Maybe 300 people, tops, in attendance (which was capacity). No barricade. Close enough to get sweat drops flicked on me from the frantic yet top-notch drumming of John Wright while his brother Rob sang and played bass. Awesome, close-up show…for maybe $10 at the door.
