Not a typical post here, but received approval to post.
To preface, I’m not asking for validation in my side of the argument. I’m simply suggesting that the action taken against me was overkill.
Last Thursday, Sunshine made a post about prime minister Mark Carney talking to the New York Times about risk assessments with the U.S. military. Sunshine, as she usually does with her posts (nothing against her here), replies to her own post with a comment stating that the U.K. and France are morally obligated to give Canada a nuke to protect itself.

I disagree, as I’m anti-nuke. I can be snarky at times, yes, and I do recognise that by my own admission. Sunshine and I exchange comments. My comment as it currently exists has been cut off in the image below to show how the comment originally looked before my edit:

Sunshine follows up by calling me naive, implies I’m anti-Canada, and calls me a tankie for some reason despite me having never voiced support for Russia, China, or any authoritarian governments, and then proceeds to block me:

Now sure, whatever, normally it’s within a person’s right to block others for whatever reason they so choose. Normally I wouldn’t care about someone doing this, I’d be able to acknowledge it as a little frustrating, and move on.
However, Sunshine is an incredibly prominent poster in the communities I’m subscribed to. To put things into perspective, Sunshine’s posts earlier today made up the thirteen newest posts in a row on my subscribed feed, which I always have sorted by newest. Due to this block, I’m unable to comment on posts or comments on posts she makes, which heavily restricts my ability to interact with the communities I enjoyed beforehand. If I had to guess, I’ve now been blocked from a quarter of my feed as a whole, and about half of what I’d normally interact with on my feed.
All this because I’m a “tankie” for being anti-nuke. This seems so mundane of a disagreement to block someone and ruin their experience on the threadiverse over. Am I right to think this is PTB, or did I deserve it?

I disagree with OP calling it fascism to ban it, but people here are forgetting Monero exists and the valid use cases a cryptocurrency like that can have.
Not every cryptocurrency is a scam or a means to manipulate markets. If I’m in a country where I’m doing something objectively good, but still against the law, then cryptocurrency works if it requires finances to operate. See Sci Hub.
Edit: Why was this top of my homepage, I’m just noticing this post is two months old lol.
