They are talking here about ISPs that ship these routers to their end customers. So these ISPs did not include the fix and from another source I saw that Broadcom did not and still has not issued this a CVE. It is not clear how and if they ever notified the ISPs…

I spent quite some time on /b/, when it was good. Because of the anonymity you’d focus more on the content and engage more based on the ideas themselves and not who said it.

I used to consider the deranged content as trolls but nowadays I’m not quite so sure… Many have been brainwashed into becoming extreme. Overall the board became a trash bin with 98% sexual content so I’ve lost all interest.

Why binding specifically to PCRs 1,4,5 and 7? Are they immutable even with updates that modify db and dbx (I think I saw one recently drop on Ubuntu)?
