Apparently, he was her camp counsellor when she was 12, they started dating 2 years later when he was 20.

I really need to watch that film one day. A colleague recommended it to me once and a few months later, I found out he was a big fan of Boris Johnson and sympathetic to the far right. But he was also a good mate, despite me being the demographic the far right would like to eliminate. I don’t know what to make of that.
