I think it’s a combination TBH. Economy causes stresses and when financially stressed it can become easy to get anngry and blaming. Add to this successive govs in most eastern nations have abandoned the working class, it breeds resentment.

An additional prospective to consider is the environment you want to work. Do you want to be indoors, outdoors, traveling? around other people? Practical or your brain.
From there you can likely start to hone in on some careers. Don’t be scared to look at unique or niche areas. I know making money is essential but a balance between chasing steady and chasing gold is a must. A lot of people chase a mindset ‘want/love’ rather than a lower option that is satisfactory but lucrative.
There is always cycles. Ask yourself questions that can guide yourself…like Who has money and what will they spend it on? What is a problem that needs attention? - a Real problem. In the last 20 years people are making solutions but id say half are a false solution focused on sales rather than stemming from a problem.
Yup. Being smug and handwaving people’s concerns or anger just fuels it.
Are their concerns factual maybe not, is their view compromised maybe maybe not.
Has change happened at a fast pace, for you no, for them yes.
You don’t have to hold discussion but saying ‘your wrong, your racist, you this you that’ has just further alienated and pushed them to a community.
I’ll probs get downvoted for saying this because again it’s perceived that I am falling on that side rather than saying have respectful dialogue with someone who may be consuming misinformation. Help them develop critical thing rather than dismissing.
