I was initially kind of torn on this one, since I don’t think a job should be able to fire you for something you do outside of work, no matter how idiotic, unless it breaks the law. Then I remembered that Republicans got a whole bunch of people fired for things they said about what’s-his-name, with the neck fountain.

So I’m ultimately coming down on the side of “fuck 'em, payback’s a bitch”.

That’s a manually applied user tag inside the client of the person who took the screenshot. System bot accounts show up differently.

Only if they mark themselves as bots.

A centrist is someone that’s too afraid to admit they’re a conservative.

I looked at a few of the posts from the screen shot and most of that “engagement” is people warning other people that it’s bot posted content, or pointing out reposted Reddit memes. I don’t consider that real engagement. There are a few that seen to have created real discussion, but the majority of the posts are noise.

Bots are not “solving that problem” because the lack of posts was never really the problem in the first place. The problem was lack of anything to engage with. Bot posts do nothing for engagement. Replying to their posts is just talking into the wind.

We to want to have conversations with real people; to know that when we insult the poster’s mother that we’re causing real, lasting harm to a flesh and blood person.

Republicans: “we should execute him anyway, just to sure. Odds are he’s done something else bad that we don’t know about yet.”

Tomorrow we’ll find out he accidentally used them as kindling in his fireplace.
