35 years ago!

Another new discovery for me. 板歯目 are from Tokyo and have been around since 2019. They appear to have toured in the US and UK recently.

Cottoned onto this Minnesotan band, early this year and listened to their catalogue and a few of the advance tracks from this album. Only realised the full album was released in July, just now. IMO, they have everything you/I want in a “dream pop/softer shoegaze” band. So full marks from me.

This week, I decided to do some serious listening of both new stuff and things that the internet told me I missed…so my Play Queue has been hovering at around 450 tracks all week, but when I noticed that Laura Veirs released a new album, I bumped her to the top of the list.

I was reminded this week that They Might Be Giants’ debut, self-titled album was released 40 years ago (November 1986). So please enjoy this tune.
