[Bug] I cannot unblock people with weird unicode names

I tried to unblock the user https://piefed.social /u/%25d8%25a7%25d9%2584%25d9%2584%25d9%2587@lemmy.world (shown as الله in the user interface) but I got the following error message in the console:

Response Status Error Code 404 from /u/%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%84%d9%87@lemmy.world/unblock

I can get more data from the browser console if that helps.
