Dancesafe you to have a stand or stands outside of raves and massive clubs and you could have whatever drug you were going to take tested, to see if it was laced. The cops would stand by and if you did not want the drug they would destroy it. But if you chose to take it they would not hassle you or anything. They would not get you on possession either. Why don’t cops interact with the community anymore this way? It got to the point I would only go where dancesafe was at.

There has been a general move away from harm reduction practices in conservative areas. The province of ontario mandated that all supervised consumption sites close and are instead prioritizing rehab and supportive services which do not tolerate substance use.
Despite a massive toxic drug supply problem, testing is not prioritized. All construction sites in ontario need naloxone on site, but no drug testing kits?
Public health is not the driver of these decisions.

There’s a few companies that offer adjacent services. Most venues hire medical staff now too, the cops tend not to be involved unless somebody is violent. Obviously some Travis Scott’s out there are beyond the best practices of a venue team but attempts are made

All drugs are bad. Prohibition and incarceration is the only way to be safe.
Edit - apparently the context is missed. The reason they don’t do testing is because the government is in tolerant. It’s a very big mistake, but conservatives don’t care.

I think OP was being sarcastic seeing as the Prohibition era in the US was a resounding failure at achieving any of it’s stated goals.
