    Looks like the lawyer, Antonio Romanucci, is founding partner of a firm that has won many settlements against LEOs, including one related to George Floyd. Best of luck to them!

    Good news, but better news would be this suit isn’t needed at all (she wasn’t killed).

    I know its heart breaking to deal with this for the family but ya think it would be smarter to wait until after the fall of the regime before going after the govt. Unless there is a statute of limitations I’m not aware of.

      Maybe they’re aiming to help boost anger at this administration before elections.

      Also, I think lawsuits take forever to get moving anyway.

        Yeah all too often you’ll see a settlement reached 6-10 years after the fact. They do take forever because the government can stall forever with their staff of lawyers and bottomless pockets.

      These lawsuits, of which there will be many, need to do ferocious discoveries, all the way to the top.

      ICE was were angry that people had been using their vehicles to impede ICE vehicles, and they wanted it to stop. We’re going to find that there were orders from the top to make some examples of a few people, and it led to them simply shooting her in the head. The guy who did it was a veteran, with about a decade of experience behind him, so he wasn’t a barely trained rookie, he knew what he was doing. If you want to send a strong message, and make sure it gets sent, you send a vet agent, who won’t fuck it up.

      We’re going to find that Renee’s murder wasn’t spontaneous, it was ordered. So who ordered it? Stephen “PeeWee Himmler” Miller? Did Trump sign off on this? Or did he order it?
