Not death, murder. And they called her a “fucking bitch” and denied her medical care after they shot her in the face.
I mean that’s essentially what anyone who’s white voted for when voting for Trump. They’re always for these policies until they’re the ones being targeted. So yeah, her mom and dad did say fascism is okay when it happens to others, then it happened to their loved one and now they’re empathic?
What happened to Good and Pretti never should’ve happened but I won’t feign sympathy for the parents that voted to allow it to happen thinking them and their family were one of the good ones it wouldn’t happen to.

Or they’re Trump voters so they don’t care about their daughter and they see a payday.
Actually seems like she’s the sole plaintiff and everyone else in this thread is just jumping to conclusions because that article about her mom a while back made them too mad to think clearly
e; I’m wrong, the article’s a bit vague on whether her parents are involved but her brother definitely is in at least one of two lawsuits happening here
“The hole in my family and myself, created by my sister’s passing, is hauntingly apparent,” Good’s brother and plaintiff, Brent Ganger, said at a Thursday news conference announcing the lawsuits.
…
The [first] lawsuit seeks unspecified compensatory damages for Good’s partner, who witnessed the shooting, and “for the immense suffering Renee endured in the final moments of her life and for the profound and permanent losses that her death has inflicted upon her family,” the family’s attorneys said in a statement.
…
In their second lawsuit, Good’s family alleges, among other things, Operation Metro Surge was “a carefully planned, coordinated effort between senior federal officials and private actors” to interfere with the civil rights of Minnesotans of Somali and Hispanic descent and origin, and to silence “the neighbors and allies of those targeted communities who observed, documented, and warned of that campaign.”
[Bolding added]
I’m not having any luck finding a specific post, but there were several articles that got written and submitted here after she testified to Congress at the end of September and essentially said “I voted for Trump because I thought he was gonna make us safer not kill my daughter” and people here (understandably I’d say) had/have some strong feelings about that
If you want people to get off the Nazi side you have to let them get off.
- Carl@anarchist.nexusEnglish2 days
Getting off the Nazi side is step 0. It’s the bare fucking minimum to even begin the process. They aren’t magically forgiven just because they were affected by their own shitty actions.
I agree that the left is particularly bad about bashing on people who are thinking about switching sides. People often say that the right is a cult, but that’s because it has a LOT of the indicators of being an actual cult, including using cult conditioning on its members.
A large part of cult conditioning is warning your members that safety can only be found within the cult. Telling cult members that the outside world is hostile and out to get them. And then they intentionally send those cult members out into the world, with the mission of being annoyingly aggressive proselytizers. And when they’re naturally met with hostility during that mission, (because of course they are, nobody likes the random door-knockers and street-corner-shouters trying to convert them), it confirms what the cult members have been warned about, and drives them deeper into the arms of the cult.
And attacking someone who is thinking about leaving conservatism plays directly into that same cult conditioning pattern. The right has spent a lot of time indoctrinating their members to believe that the outside world will be hostile. And attacking a former conservative only confirms what the right has warned them about, and pushes them back towards conservatism.
But that doesn’t mean we should welcome Nazis into the group just because they were attacked by other Nazis. They’re basically saying “okay, maybe Nazis aren’t all good.” But then you dig deeper, and they’re often arriving at that statement by saying “yeah the Nazi-on-Nazi crime is an issue we need to address, to keep the Nazi party strong.” They’re viewing the entire situation through a fundamentally skewed lens. And someone saying “maybe Nazis aren’t all good” is worth investigating, rather than taking the statement at face value and welcoming them with open arms.

All of this is based on what, two whole quotes from her mom? People like you are doing exactly what the fascists want to you to do, antagonizing anyone and everyone could join our movement.
This is some whiny manbaby shit. If she wants to fight Trump then she’s on my side. I don’t GAF what mistakes people made in the past. We are way beyond demanding perfection from people now, this is about survival.
Do you think maybe Renee Good’s wife, who is also part of the suit, is a little more familiar with the character of her parents than you or I are?
Personally I want people who had bad enough judgement to wind up on the Nazi side in the first place to shut the hell up for the rest of their miserable lives. They can go volunteer at nursing homes or food pantries or something but I don’t want to hear a single opinion out of any of them ever again.
That all being said, anybody who files basically any lawsuit against the federal government slows them down a little bit, and right now that is always a good thing, so I don’t think it actually matters much who filed this lawsuit and who they voted for, all that matters is that the feds get dragged into court for this and we get a historical record of their crimes.
That’s how being stupid works. You only respond to things fewer steps away in causation.

The [second] suit names [murderer Jonathan] Ross, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, White House border czar Tom Homan, and other Trump administration figures as defendants, as well as ten John Doe federal agents “for their respective individual roles in the operation that led to Renee’s death,” according to the family’s attorneys.
Jonathan Ross deserves at least the Derek Chauvin treatment, and I hope every single one of these motherfuckers gets their names, reputations, careers, and livelihoods dragged through deep, toxic sludge.

2 daysWe need to be repeatedly posting images of these traitor’s faces so they can’t move around freely within our nation ever again. They should be scared to be in public. I know most of these cowards cover their faces, but we have Jonathan Ross’ face.

the fbi moved him and his FILIPINO trophy wife to another state secretely.

Once again the British version, despite it’s flaws, still better than the American one.
I hate that WE are the actual ones paying.
Renee good paid taxes (presumably) and was killed by the people paid by them, and now her family is going to take more of our tax money (which they deserve).
No one in the regime pays meaningful taxes, THEY illegally killed a citizen, and WE ARE PAYING FOR IT.
IM TIRED OF PAYING. WHEN WILL THEY PAY

RIP Renee,
i live in another continent so i don’t know why i keep thinking of her.
Anyway, the people she hoped to rally around her, literally did nothing, i mean she was deliberately executed on camera, and nobody did anything. Fuck this.
Fuck this world, her sacrifice should brought change instead its nothing only more fear.
Simply not true. MAGA has blocked justice at every turn, but they are steadily losing. It is taking a long time, but just because she hasn’t seen justice YET, doesn’t mean she never will. Murder has no statute of limitations, so even if it takes 20 years to get rid of MAGA, it will NEVER be too late to drag this guy into court, prosecute him, and give him a life sentence (Minnesota doesn’t have the death penalty), or possibly a death penalty (the Feds do).
He has a potential, and likely, life/death sentence hanging over his head, and he will NEVER be able to sleep soundly, he will ALWAYS be looking over his shoulder, until the day he dies.

If you think she tried to stop them so that one guy allegedly can go to a fed prison.
then you are missing the point.
- 2 days
Ironic that you read that comment and thought because it seemed to disagree with you on one aspect, that they “missed the point”.
- 2 days
she took direct action trying to stop them kidnapping people from the streets.
The comment is talking about prison time to the shooter.
How many direct action were done after her death, how many attempts to stop ice from kidnapping people, i just search such topic and last week ice literally shoot a latino delivery guy.
So yes that comment is missing the point.

Except that it’s easily possible, and common, to address one aspect of a topic without directly touching on everything involved. You made an assumption about what was meant. And now you’re super defensive about it. Cool.
They were obviously just saying it’s wrong to claim “nobody did anything”. Something is being done. “Not enough was done” is not “nothing”. “Nothing” is hyperbole.
You assumed the commenter meant “all that mattered to her is at least one Nazi paying for their crimes”. Which actually is just going out of your way to get mad for no reason. Be better.

If the situation was reversed maga would have rallied and killed that officer (see Jan 6th). That’s how shit the people and culture in our side is. When you have “friends” like this who the fuck needs enemies? Then when you call them out, they’ll find any way to other you and cast you out. So yea, I agree with you. Fuck this.
The problem isn’t that the left isn’t brutal enough.
The problem is that the right is extremely brutal.
Not being brutal is the lesser problem it’s the fact that the “left” in this country seems more concerned with being friends with the people trying to kill us than defending the ones who are on their side, see their treatment of trans and muslim people
A court case win can’t bring her back, but I do hope that the law can bring her family some peace and justice.

It won’t. The Justice system is rigged. The big players will threaten the judge who rules on the case.
