There was a young lass of Madras
Who had a magnificent ass
Not rounded and pink
As you’d probably think
But was grey, had long ears, and ate grass.- __lone_eagle___@lemmy.mlEnglish2 days
Geralt, who do you wish to impress with this… The Red green or the Black purple.

My ship, my rules, and if you can’t keep your grimy mitts off the stereo, you can walk the plank like that one did. No sharks, though, so there’s that. I mean, really, how much damage could a rasher of piggies do, eh? 😝

If it don’t put some hurdy in your gurdy, I fear you’ve seen either far too little, or far too much, of these merciless and farsical cybernetic seas.
Aye, lad, we can add in some trad Irish drinking, rebellion and worker’s songs to shake it up a bit.

Please could you share some of your trad irish drinking worker songs to a fellow crewman ?
Look up the Dubliners to start with. They covered a lot of material of varying subjects.
A letter of marque came from the king to the scummiest vessel I’ve ever seen!

Would mashups suffice? Something tells me there’s at least one band stitching together Metal & shanty w/ soul-ripping fretwork and revolutionary inspirations. 🤞🏼

Of course! Load up a bunch of sea shanties and a good chance a few of them have played other styles too. Probably got some protest songs in there, the workers song/chemical workers song. Within an hour or so the playlist will have you asking which side are you on.
