In case anyone is wondering about traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, including estimated oil flows through it and circumventing it, this looks like a decent resource: https://hormuz.data-tracking.net/
When George W. was demonizing Hugo Chavez and devastating Iraq for the WMD lie, guess what the then-president of Venezuela did? Hugo Chavez sent heating oil to the poor of the USA.

🇮🇷🇮🇱| Iran’s Head of National Cyberspace says Iran is aware of individuals in the technology sectors who collaborate with Israeli military industries.
He specifically named 3 companies among others that are directly complicit in Israel’s military endeavours against Iran:
• Axon Vision; which develops AI-powered military targeting, surveillance, and battlefield intelligence systems. • UVision; which manufactures loitering munitions (kamikaze drones). • Magos Systems; which develops radar and surveillance systems for detecting and tracking people, vehicles, and drones.
He says employees working for these companies should resign as soon as possible. When asked how much of a serious threat this is, he responded as if it’s a parent telling them to resign, “otherwise, we will see what happens,” he added.

🇮🇷🇺🇸| Confirmed: The sound of explosions from the Strait of Hormoz came from Iran shooting down drones.
The IRGC-Navy announced it shot down:
• 2 MQM-170 recon drones, south of Qeshm Island
• A MQ-9 drone, over the eastern side of the Strait of Hormoz. Total tally now sits at 55 MQ-9 shot down by Iran.

— 🇺🇸/🇮🇷 NEW: Several explosions were heard on Qeshm Island, Iran, amid unconfirmed reports that an anti-air platform was targeted by U.S. strikes
Reports of sporadic strikes against launch platforms in southern Iran have been published in recent weeks; these cannot be confirmed nor denied.
If true—Iran has made a conscious decision not to respond to these minor acts of aggression currently due to some security considerations.

Two gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on the brothers near a well-known mosque in the neighborhood before fleeing the scene.
The brothers were taken to a hospital in the Ashrafieh neighborhood, but they had died before arriving. They were later buried in the Shuqayf neighborhood.
Sources reported resentment over the failure to complete the forensic examination and investigation, amid calls to uncover the circumstances of the crime and identify those responsible.

The Iran, Russia, China and DPRK block is such a vibe. While the western block is vassalised to the extreme, these four are so different yet still united in anti-imperialism and for sovereignty.

❗️Tucker Carlson claims Washington considering nuclear strike on Iran under Israeli pressure
According to a public statement released on social media by US political commentator Tucker Carlson, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is applying intense pressure on the White House to launch a tactical nuclear strike against Iran’s subterranean Pickaxe Mountain facility (Kolang Kouh).
Carlson asserted that Israeli intelligence claims Tehran has restarted nuclear enrichment deep beneath the granite complex near Natanz, alleging that because conventional US munitions cannot penetrate 300 feet of rock, Pentagon officials including War Secretary Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM chief Brad Cooper are advocating nuclear deployment alongside Tel Aviv.
Carlson further claimed that Netanyahu’s push for immediate military escalation is driven by domestic political survival following recent Israeli parliamentary elections, where the prime minister remains unable to assemble a 61-seat Knesset coalition.
“Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war,” he wrote.
Citing unnamed informed observers, Carlson alleged that former president Barack Obama and Secretary of State Marco Rubio oppose current peace talks in Doha, whereas Vice President JD Vance and diplomatic envoy Steve Witkoff are counseling President Donald Trump to pursue a negotiated settlement rather than executing a strike decision by 7 November.
The claims—which have not been verified—warned that a US nuclear attack would cause catastrophic regional radioactive fallout across Persian Gulf water supplies and trigger immediate global proliferation.

I’m only posting this because, one, every other channel has decided that they needed to report on it, and two, because I want to critique what I think is the intention behind this.
In my opinion, Carlson is framing this in a way that implies that the US is being led by Israel for this imperialist aggression, a framing I disagree with immensely. He asserts that Netanyahu is leading Trump along using elements of his administration, and is going to innaguarate a new age of nuclear war.
The US has been preparing for this excursion foe decades, and decided to strike now not solely due to Israel but largely, in my opinion, due to BRICS. Israel undeniably has played an immense role in this aggression, and I’m willing to believe that they fed incomplete information to Trump using the Jaunary riots as a foundation for the idea that Iran would topple.
However I think the reason the US allowed itself to be coerced so easily this time was because the inauguration of the BRICS New Development Bank (and other global factors) were going to make sactions against Iran significantly less effective then they already are. My view of this imperialist war is that it is a war of desperation, where the US believed there was going to be no chance left on the horizon which would allow them to finally subjugate Iran before the multipolar world became an unquestionable reality.
Specifically, without the ability to destroy Iran, they’d be unable to cripple China and the Belt and Road initiative. Not to mention, the US likely wanted to exit the region to focus on China, but wanted to leave it so the zionist entity was the most well positioned after a US departure. This desperate attempt to smother the emergence of a multipolar world, spearheaded by China, is the impetus from this war, which has ironically enshrined this new global order.
So now, what of the nukes? I think most people here were already aware of the possibility, so Carlson’s post is unsurprising. However, although the idea that other nuclear powers will be emboldened to use nuclear weapons themselves is fairly acceptable, I think it’s overstated.
Ranting about how the DPRK might nuke Seoul, or how India/Pakistan might use a nuke on eachother is, in my view, wildly off base. For all the animosity between the latter two countries, a nuclear strike would still affect billions in the surrounding region, a fact that I doubt India or Pakistan take lightly. The former example, is also complete nonsense, as the DPRK has viewed Occupied Korea as, well, an occupation, until relatively recently, and again, they would be affected as well.
The only use of nukes I could potentially see, is in Ukraine, but even that is a stretch to me (again, Russia would have the effects of nuclear fallout, as well as the fact that nukes are not necessary for them to win their war).
In other words, this idea that every other country would be as blood thirsty with nukes as possible, is imperialist projection. What Tucker is doing is trying to rehabilitate the image of the US before they take yet another step down the ladder of barbarism.
Frankly, if nukes fly, I am more willing to believe it would be Israel that uses them due to pressure from the US then the other way around.
wonderful and clear-eyed analysis, thank you. it’s a shame seeing so many supposed anti-imperialists deciding to lend their ear to tucker carlson of all people.
i’d have to strongly disagree on the possibility of nuclear conflict in ukraine. just like with india/pakistan, it is a situation of a natural whole having been artificially divided by foreign powers, just with said division here having been done even more recently and on even more flimsy grounds, thus having populations that haven’t internalised that kind of nationalist hatred for each other (yet). there remain incredibly strong familial ties, russia hosts the most ukrainian war refugees, and there is a reason why the kiev régime has to coerce and horrifically abuse its population into fighting.
russia nuking ukraine would be nuking itself.
The only scenario where I see Russia using a nuclear weapon in Ukraine, is if Europe uses one, otherwise I see it as very much not a possibility.
the european ruling class benefits from prolonging the war as much as possible, as it gives them an oppurtunity to shovel even more money into arms corporations, as well as providing a smokeskreen for gutting most remaining concessions to the working class.

As always beautiful analysis. Just a question, what could even the use of nukes look like? Are they going to nuke the capital or the whole country or just a minor city so Iran capitulates?
They cannot win the war with nukes, so it would serve mostly as a way for Trump to move up the escalation ladder to a (perceived) point where he can claim they have “destroyed the Iranian nuclear program” and try to pull out.
Tehran would probably not be a target, too costly politically and will provoke a do-or-die response from the axis of resistance. There is very low chance that Iran capitulates if they get nuked.
I honestly don’t know, you’ll gave to ask another comrade about that, as I’m ill-equipped to answer.
My guess would go to say they’d try to nuke a facility rather then a city but that’s just speculation. In any event, Iran likely has a contingency for either outcome, as they’ve had with every escalation so far.
Nuking a city would enrage the Iranian people, and probably the entire Muslim world, but so would a nuke on any part of Iran.
I also think that in the event of a nuke, Iran would finally build a nuclear weapon of their own, and even potentially use it on a US asset.

❗️Israeli military signs $190 million agreement with Elbit Systems for advanced artillery training facility
The Israeli war ministry’s Defense Procurement Directorate (DPD) signed a 15-year contract valued at over $190 million with Israeli ‘defense’ firm Elbit Systems to construct a technology training facility for army commanders and artillery units, according to official statements published on the Israeli war ministry’s social media channels.
The project is designed to support the operational rollout of next-generation artillery platforms, specifically the SIGMA self-propelled howitzer and the PULS rocket launcher system.
The contract includes the delivery of simulation technology, mission simulators, driving units, and specialized instructional infrastructure to accelerate training timelines for artillery personnel.
Defense Procurement Directorate head Zeev Landau stated that the agreement reflects a long-term strategy to expand military strike capacity and ground readiness, while Elbit Systems executive Boaz Cohen confirmed the facility will provide logistics and maintenance support to preserve high operational readiness across artillery units.
The massive procurement agreement underscores Israel’s long-term military buildup and reliance on domestic arms manufacturers to expand its heavy artillery capabilities. The technological overhaul comes as Israeli occupation forces face prolonged attrition across multiple regional fronts, relying heavily on automated long-range artillery and rocket systems to sustain continuous bombardments.
