It’s actually really simple and it’s a lesson that politicians the world over should have learned by now.

The USA has never had allies. It has had patsies of convenience. That is all.

  • For that we must first combat fascism. And that means changing algorithms to favour antifascism.

I agree but also think it means a lot more.

As Orwell well showcased in homage to Catalina, antifascism is empty without an accompanied positive idea. We are fighting against the fascists, but what are we fighting for.

      • Social and economic wellbeing of all labourers! Afgordable housing, groceries, and a clean home, with equal labour rights for all so there’s no incentive to mass hire immigrants.

(The last one isn’t necessarily part of my thought, but it might get people on board who otherwise vote on right-wing parties, solely because of the immigration thingy.)

The narrative must be focused on the economy. None of that cultural warfare nonsense, all on the economics.

So Russia’s next war of conquest would be easier? Fuck off right out of here

Oh, look! A Russian shill in Lemmy! This never happens! Especially from the .ml domains!

    • Russia thanks you for your support comrade, now pick up the gun the last guy dropped when he was killed and die for Russia!

The warsaw pact killed more people than NATO has btw

Even for that they’d have to ask for the USA’s permission lmao
