People don’t generally know which politicians stand behind which law, and which representives opposed a law. Too much laborious digging to get those answers. As a consequnce, a lot of people likely vote against their own interests due to this systemic ignorance.

So new rule:

  1. Legislative bodies must establish a git blame mechanism.
  2. Legislative bodies must finance development of FOSS tools to harvest and use the git blame datasets.
