I doubt a new figurehead will help them much. A society that repeatedly elects someone like that orange shit stain on humanity is broken to the core, can’t fix that with replacing the top muppet.

I have no idea what happens when Putin gets got. From what I’ve heard, the alternatives are “conservatives LARPing as communists”, “fascists worse than putin”, and “liberals who will bring back the 90s”.
I’ve asked a few Russians what happens, they didn’t make any predictions.

Putin is a bit like the 4th contender for replacement, Bibi, in that he needs his war to keep going to protect his job.
Trump clearly thinks he needs one too.

They’re mostly mocking Zelenskyy for expecting America to help Ukraine, given what we do to all our allies, not simply strip both sides for cheap labor and resources. Some of them are talking about whether dogs can be mayors.
