He’s conservative but old school conservative. You can’t use that word in the modern sense anymore. The conservative party itself is some sort of monstrosity with a mix of grievance politics, bigotry, and stupidity.
There is no such thing as a progressive conservative. They are opposed stances.

Progressive Conservative just means they tolerate lgbtq people, won’t interfere with your beliefs, won’t tell you that you can do in the bedroom, and whether you can have an abortion or not.
Everything else is the same
He seems socially indifferent and economically, business favourable. He’s what the liberal party has been for a long time, center right.

Dude didn’t pursue a career at Goldman Sachs because he loves helping the helpless.
That is a career you get into because what you love more than anything is money and wealth and what it can do.
Mark Carney is selfish corrupt conservative selling out trans kids, he doesn’t care about vulnerable people in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
