I loved watching the 1964 series. The family is definitely into creepy stuff, but also wholesome and loving. Was an enjoyable watch 60 years later! I think MGM posted the 1964 episodes on YouTube for free to help promote a newer Addams Family movie that came out?

My tangential Pop-Cultural Osmosis contact with the newer iterations says that the newer ones are not so wholesome and loving, and more aggressively anti-normal-folks instead of genuinely thinking the normal people the odd ones and still being their sweet selves, so I’ll be sticking with 1964.
