Cant believe minecraft became woke. Whats next, the game telling you your gender is valid?

None of the mobs have differentiated sexes, and aside from Steve, all of the default player skins are androgenous
not only that, the animals are all true hemaphrodites (any two animals of the same species are able to reproduce)
edit: i take that back, chickens reproduce asexually

chickens can also reproduce sexually if you feed two nearby chickens seeds

I’m just worried it’ll be more empty than the nether pre 1.16

The fortress was in the game since 1.0. Beta era Minecraft in general was more empty, so the nether being nothing but lava, rack, and ghosts that shoot fireballs wasn’t so strange. However, as the game has matured, empty areas feel emptier. They’ll probably build on it over several game drops, but it’ll probably start off with just a single biome and a mob or two.
10 daysConsidering they hired the lead developer behind the Aether 1 and 2 mods in 2020, it amazes me that we’re only seeing a new dimension now tbh. But I think he was involved in the Nether updates
I miss Aether, I might need to check in on the progress of Aether 2 as last time I checked the rest of the team had a break before picking it back up again but that was packed with way more interesting stuff than the Nether ever was imo
