A property in South Australia’s Riverland region previously home to 40 acres of vineyards has been restored to native vegetation.
The project has provided a sanctuary for the nationally threatened regent parrot.
Vines continue to be ripped up across the region with the wine industry in crisis, but it is hoped the project could inspire others to do the same.
