everyone tried to regain some kind of control after everything that happened. despite the scale of damage, the chaos did not last long. the world's only desire was to recover the only kind of life it knew. everything ended, yet they just kept on pretending.; zalma: "fair."; six billion dead, nothing ever changes. They didn't waste time on talking. they locked themselves in the toilet to smoke a colorless mass their dealer dared to call weed. she sobered up and left.

they threw her on the bed and proceeded to construct a makeshift smoking device. the dorm room was unremarkable. next to the bed stood an old cheap dresser with on of its edges torn open, exposing honeycomb cardboard. it was decorated with an exhibition of empty vodka bottles and dust mixed with weed. on the wall, behind the dresser was a torn-off socket with a cable still plugged in, leading to a network router stuck between the dresser and the wall. it must have fell there a long time ago. a useless artifact since the solar flare. over the bed, mounted using hot glue of all things, was a poster... of a triptych.
